Craig and Nicola Langton warmly welcome you to a stay at Shepherd's Rest, a self catering cottage, set on a working sheep farm in Burton Overy, a conservation village, in the beautiful south Leicestershire countryside. This one bedroomed cosy retreat, adjoining the main 17th century farmhouse, is mainly a converted old coach house and retains many of its original period features. Although set in the countryside, the main A6 road is just two miles away so ideal for those working or travelling to either Leicester City or Market Harborough.

Fresh farm eggs are available to buy from "The Good Egg" each day and also in the village is a Dairy farm that provides milk, cream, milkshakes and fresh bread on a Tuesday. The village has a thriving pub "The Bell" which also provides a takeaway menu.
Prices include central heating, electricity, linen, towels and a basket of logs. A welcome pack is also provided for those essential food supplies - enquire when booking your preferences. There is ample parking in the cobbled courtyard outside the cottage. We regret we cannot accommodate pets or smokers.
